FIrst off she is ADORABLE! I always wanted glasses when I was a kid so I could look smart too. I love the apron..I am still in quilting mode but would love to learn to make something from a real pattern (like a dress or an apron). I would like to get the courage to knit also but maybe next year...read your post about the Marine Corps Ball and was dying to know how it went and what you wore..I know, I don't even know you but I got sucked into the drama of it all.
Isn't she a sweetie. She's my step-grand-daughter so I'm very biased :) The kid never takes a bad picture :) I didn't wear any of the shawls I made or attempted to make for the Marine Ball. Instead I wore a black A-line floor length skirt with a black top I borrowed from a friend. It matched the skirt perfectly. I gave away the gold glittery shawl to my neice. I have yet to wear the "fruit loop" shawl because I have yet to visit a tropical island :)
